Fiilden sonra -ing mi gelir, to + fiil mi? — Mantığıyla, bol örnekle
Önce mantığı kuralım
İngilizcede bir fiilin ardından başka bir fiil gelirse, o ikinci fiil çıplak kalamaz. İki kılığa girer:

Yanına GERUND (-ing) alan fiiller
Bu fiillerden sonra ikinci fiil -ing olur. En sık çıkanlar:

Yanına INFINITIVE (to + fiil) alan fiiller
Bu fiillerden sonra ikinci fiil to + fiil olur. Çoğu "istek, niyet, karar, plan" anlatır:

İKİSİNİ de alabilen ama ANLAMI değişen fiiller
Bazı fiillerin yanına hem -ing hem to gelebilir ama anlam değişir. Bunlar sınavda en çok tuzak kurulan yerlerdir.
