Conditionals, bir koşul ve o koşulun sonucunu anlatır. YÖKDİL Sağlık tarzında sadece klasik dört tip değil; unless, provided that, as long as, in case, otherwise, even if ve mixed conditional mantığı da ölçülür.
Conditionals Mantığı
condition + resultKoşul cümlesinde iki parça vardır: if-clause şartı verir, main clause sonucu verir. Ana soru şudur: Bu koşul gerçek mi, olası mı, hayali mi, yoksa geçmişte kaçırılmış bir ihtimal mi?
Gerçek / bilimsel
Koşul gerçekleşirse sonuç genel olarak doğrudur.
Olası gelecek
Koşul gerçekçi; sonuç gelecekte olabilir.
Hayali şimdi
Koşul şu an gerçek değil; sonuç varsayımdır.
Geçmiş pişmanlık
